• Validate your PDF using IEEE PDF eXpress site (see instructions below). The site will embed validation tags inside your PDF. Without these tags, the paper will not be included in IEEEXplore.
• Submit your validated PDF to EasyChair.
• Sign copyright release form when required (instructions from IEEE will be e-mailed to all corresponding authors).

The appropriate copyright notice is to appear at the bottom of the first page of each paper according to the guidelines set forth in the Cataloguing/Copyright Instructions for an IEEE Conference Proceeding. The copyright notice should appear about 1 cm below the left column, and should be aligned to the left with the same left margin as the column.

The copyright notice to be added depends on the circumstances as follows:

For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright

For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: : 978-1-7281-4187-9/19/$31.00 ©2019 Crown For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 978-1-7281-4187-9/19/$31.00 ©2019 European Union

For all other papers, the copyright notice is: 978-1-7281-4187-9/19/$31.00 ©2019 IEEE You may want to first prepare your PDF and then add the copyright notice separately using a PDF editing programme. If you using LaTeX with IEEEtran document class, this may help: • Add the following code before the \maketitle command \IEEEoverridecommandlockouts \IEEEpubid{\makebox[\columnwidth]{978-1-7281-4187-9/19/\$31.0\textcopyright{}2019 IEEE \hfill}

\hspace{\columnsep}\makebox[\columnwidth]{ }}

• Add the following code after the \maketitle command
\IEEEpubidadjcol

• Make sure you use the appropriate IEEE copyright notice string, as explained above.
