Call For Papers

IVCNZ is New Zealand’s premier academic conference on visual computing. This includes all aspects of computer vision, image processing, computer graphics, virtual and augmented reality, visualisation, and HCI applications related to these fields.

Submissions of original research are invited to IVCNZ on any aspects of image and video computing. All submissions are peer-reviewed on the basis of full papers (5-6 pages, IEEE format). The conference proceedings will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore, where previous years’ proceedings can be found.

Image and Vision Computing New Zealand is New Zealand’s premier academic conference for innovations in computer vision, image processing, visualisation and computer graphics. Held annually, it attracts an international forum of scientists and researchers with typically about one half of the participants coming from outside New Zealand.

Key dates

  • Submission of full papers for review: 26 August 11:59pm 16 September 2019 NZT (11:59pm 15 September AoE) (deadline has been extended)
  • Notification of acceptance: 4 October, 2019
  • Camera-ready paper submission due: 11 October, 2019
  • Conference dates: 2-4 December, 2019
